Tired of watching your mint leaves lose their freshness and go to waste? Say goodbye to that frustration!
With this straightforward method, you can keep the delightful aroma and crispness of your mint leaves for as long as four weeks, ensuring you always have them ready for use in the refrigerator.
You can follow the same method to preserve fresh cilantro or coriander leaves and curry leaves for up to weeks!
What you will need:
One bunch of mint leaves
A cotton cloth
Air-tight box
Paper towels
Instructions:
- Pluck all the fresh mint leaves from the stalks and discard any that are blackened or spoiled.
- Wash the mint leaves 2-3 times to remove all the dirt.
- Spread the cotton towel or paper towels on the countertop and lay the washed mint leaves on it.
- Allow the mint leaves to completely dry.
- Carefully place a paper towel at the bottom of the airtight box. Gently transfer the dried mint leaves onto the paper towel. Once all the leaves are inside, close the lid tightly to keep the leaves fresh.
- This way, your mint leaves can stay fresh for up to 4 weeks.
