Ragi Ganji is a popular breakfast choice from Karnataka that’s super healthy and really easy to whip up. This porridge gets its base from Ragi flour, which is made from finger millet and packed with nutrients. To make it, you just mix the ragi flour with water to get a smooth mix, and then cook it up until it thickens to your liking.
Once it’s all cooked, adding a scoop of whisked yogurt gives it a nice creamy texture and a bit of tanginess that works perfectly with the ragi. A sprinkle of crushed black pepper and a bit of salt takes the flavor up a notch. Finally, you can top it off with some finely chopped red onions and fresh coriander leaves for a pop of color and freshness. It’s a warm, filling breakfast that keeps you fueled for the day without much fuss!
